I have used the overlib javascript library for many different text based popups on different applications. It is extremely useful for applications where a detailed help message would be valuable to the client. For some time I have wondered about using it with images - instead of having to click a link or thumbnail and then browsing back, why not just use a rollover? (more...)

So I wrote the following piece of code to display the random image above, mainly so I could show off my photos without having to create a photo gallery thingy. It is pretty straightforward and works fairly well. (more...)

We've been going to Vermont for the last couple of years to escape the heat and humidity of Philadelphia. We adore everything about the verdant state, and I am constantly amazed by the natural beauty all around me. So I spend an inordinate amount of time photographing anything that catches my eye and use up a lot of disk space. I have included some of the photos here for your enjoyment. (more...)
